History

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, a Community Based Organization - Action for Child Neurodevelopment Concept (ACND) was born to address the emerging challenges faced by children and families in our community.
The idea shared with like minded professionals from various schools of thought and diverse academic and professional backgrounds brought unity of purpose to the now young yet one of the most prolific CBOs in Kenya Today.
Our mission is to promote optimal child health and neurodevelopment through a holistic approach that encompasses education, community engagement, and support services.

Our Programs

At ACND, we believe that every child deserves a healthy start in life. Our programs are designed to enhance children's cognitive, social, and emotional development by providing access to essential resources, training, and advocacy. We collaborate with local healthcare providers, educators, and families to create supportive environments that nurture child development. We offer various programs that focus on empowering families and communities to create environments where children can thrive, ensuring they have access to the support they need for their holistic development.

Our Approach

We work closely with healthcare providers, educators, and community leaders to deliver targeted health, education, and neurodevelopmental interventions.
